Deep sigh.
The South End Open Market was a complete bust. I sold ZERO items in six hours. I also got a sunburn. I'm not upset per se, but it's certainly disappointing. I don't think anyone else did all that well, either, though; the market is in an out of the way location and isn't super accessible by public transportation. There is some parking, but people may or may not know that. There's also a lot of jewelry, and while mine may be different, this market in particular may not be the right demographics for my jewelry.
I'm still looking into area boutiques for selling, and I think that really might be the best place for me.

i'm glad to hear you are not discouraged. i went thru something similar recently - a huge college campus, on pay day, in the campus center - sold one thing to another table vendor. the other vendors sold maufactured jewelry for $8. can't compete with that... :-)
